For many years, I have had Joseph and John S. Bassett listed with unknown origin. With the recent completion of a Y-DNA test for this family line, we know that Joseph and John S. Bassett are descendants of William Bassett.
Through a Facebook history page, Trevor Bassett uncovered the 1811 census of Lubec listing the oldest brother in the 1811 census. We have now linked this family up as seen above.
