The owner of a home in Massachusetts found five boxes of material originally belonging to Josiah Colby Bassett. They found my Bassett website and sent me the material. It is a treasure trove of research and pictures. I will be featuring items from this collection for the rest of year as I have time to sort through the material. The material has been in the attic through several owners since 1940 when Josiah died.
