Edward W. Bassett
Edward W. Bassett, 55, who once held the title of American Ice figure skating champion, died yesterday in his room 4605 Fifth avenue. Bassett was the husband of the late Grace Elaine, a sister of Billy Burke, famous actress, widow of Florenz Ziegfield, who died and was buried in comparative obscurity here in December, 1936.

Pittsburgh, Dec. 30 (AP) – Forgotten by a public which once applauded her on the legitimate stated, Mrs. Edward Bassett, 56 – once Grace Elaine – went to her grave today.
She played a leading role in the comedy “Lighnin” that ran three years on Broadway.
