  Notes	Morning Olympian, Washington, Monday, August 24, 1953 Alma S. Bassett Alma S. Bassett, widow of Samuel Basset, who lived in Kamilche Valley, died in a Shelton hospital Sunday night. Mrs. Bassett was born in Finland and came to the United States in 1902. In 1905 she was married to Samuel Bassett in Alaska, where the family lived for sixteen years. The Bassetts moved to the Kamilche Valley in 1920. Surviving are four sons, Roy C. Bassett, in Shelton; Emerson Bassett, in Seattle; Clark Bassett, in Honolulu, and Dr. L.H. Bassett, in Detroit; a grandchild, Sam C. Bassett, Seattle; and two sisters, one of whom is Mrs. Jack Kumpula, Clarkston, Washington. The funeral service will be held in Mills and Mills chapel this Thursday afternoon, starting at one o?clock. Burial will take place in Odd Fellows Cemetery.
