James W. Bassett
Bassett, James W., of St. Petersburg, died Friday (January 30, 1987). Born in Coopers Plains, New York, he came here in 1956 from Staten Island, New York. He was retired from Procter & Gamble Company. During World War I, he served in the Army Air Corps. Survivors include three daughters, Jeanne Hurley, California; Janet T. Gretzler, Connecticut; and Renee Anderson, Pennsylvania; a sister, Elizabeth Donohue, St. Petersburg; eleven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Mathews-Palms Memorial Funeral Directors.
