- Hazel Jeanette (Feigl) Bass, June 4, 1994
SAUK CITY/BLACK HAWK ? Hazel J. Bass, age 68, died on Thursday June 2, 1994 at St. Mary?s Hospital in Madison. She was born on December 12, 1925, the daughter of Andrew and Evelyn (Hemberger) Feigo. She was married to Harlan Bass on June 10, 1947. The couple farmed in Troy township for many years. Mrs. Bass was a member of the Behtlehem United Methodist Church in Black Hawk, where she san gin the church choir and she was also a member of the Witwen Homemakers and the Sauk County Homemakers Choir. Survivors include her husband, Harlan; three children, Brian (Denise) Bass of Prairie du Sac, Nola Marie (fiancé Dennis Weis) Bass of Madison and Myron (Skyler) Bass of Elmhurst, Illinois; her mother, Evelyn Feigle of Spring Green; a brother, Harlan (Betty) Feigl of Plain; a sister, Lillian (Loren) Zick of Prairie du Sac; and five grandchildren, Kimberly, Craig, Corey, Brittney and Brenden Bass. She was preceded in death by her father, Andrew Feigl. Funeral services will be held at the Bethlehem United Methodist Church, Black Hawk, at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday June 5, with Pastor Dennis Weis officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Saturday Jun 4 at the Gnewikow-Hooverson Funreal Home, Sauk City.
