Burtnett-Bass
Miss Lavada Burtnett, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Morris Burtnett, exchanged marriage vows with Ronald Bass, son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Bass, Sept. 15 at the home of the bride?s parents. The Rev. G.I. Benton officiated.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a ballerina-length gown of Chantilly lace accented by motifs of jewel-embroidered lace. The gown was fashioned with Sabrina neckline and long sleeves. Her veil was held by a crown of pearls and sequins and she carried a bouquet of white roses.
The attendants were Miss Caroline Swartz, who wore a gold satin gown and a corsage of bronze roses, and Don Groneweg. Miss Connie McCullough lighted the candles.
A reception was held in the home. After a wedding trip to south Missouri, the couple will reside here.
