Betty Ann Bass, 93, a resident of Blue Springs, MO passed away peacefully Monday, March 8, 2021 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born April 5, 1927 to William and Anna (Bannister) Bodenhofer in Hackensack, MN.
Betty graduated from Hackensack High School in 1945. She worked as a file clerk for Unity Village. Betty was Baptist by faith. She enjoyed reading her Bible, writing in her daily journal, and watching Downton Abbey. Betty cherished spending time with her family.
Survived by her daughter, Sherrie Curts and husband Kevin of Blue Springs, MO; 12 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Tammy Bass of Independence, MO. Betty is preceded in death by her parents, William and Anna Bodenhofer; sons, Terry and Randy Bass; siblings, Emily Willard, Barbara Ford, Iris Nelson, Lorraine Hemminger, Ed Bodenhofer; daughter-in-law, Vickie Utterback.
Betty will be cremated per her wishes with inurnment taking place in Minnesota. Arrangements have been entrusted to Meyers Funeral Chapel in Blue Springs. Memories of Betty and words of comfort for her family may be shared at meyersfuneralchpael.com.
