Jack Beavers, Sr., age 75, of Fayetteville, TN passed away Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at his residence. He was born in Lincoln County, TN on November 5, 1937 to the late George W. Beavers & Jessie L. Knott. He was a brick & rock mason and concrete finisher and was a member of Mt. Olive M.B. Church. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Margaret L. Bass Beavers. Mr. Beavers is survived by his son, Jack Beavers, Jr. of Fayetteville, TN, sister-in-law, Priscilla Bass of Elkton, TN, brothers-in-law, Thomas Bass and Maloy Bass, both of Elkton, TN and Larry & Margie Bass of Prospect, TN, aunts, Tiny Knott and Pearline Buchanan, and a host of family and friends. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home with Min. Stinson Knott and Rev. Phillip Buchanan officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant View Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 12:00 noon until time of service.
