Conducting will be the Dr. Mack Mack Timberlake. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Nephews will be pallbearers. He died yesterday in the Veterans Administration Hospital in Durham. He served in the Army before being honorably discharged in 1946. Surviving are his wife, Sarah Turner Bass; a daughter, Michelle Bass of Morristown, N.J.; two sisters, Cora L. Downey of North Braddock, Pa., and Bettie Mae Harris of Petersburg, Va.; and a brother, James E. Bass of Durham.
