DUNN, May 26 ? Parlie (Bill) Bass, 46, of Route 2, Dunn, died today in a local hospital. Funeral 4 p.m. Wednesday, Maple Grove Methodist Church, Route 2, Dunn, the Rev. C.W. Dirby, burial in church cemetery. Survivors: wife, Mrs. Alma Thornton Bass; his mother, Mrs. Amzie Bass of the home; a son, Ira E. Bass of Route 2, Dunn; three sisters, Mrs. Carlie Raynor and Mrs. Mamie Herring of Raleigh and Mrs. Hettie Godwin of Route 2, Dunn; and two grandchildren.
