Miss Ouida Woody And J.M. Bass III Wed in Mississippi
The Episcopal church in Canton, Miss., was the setting Sept. 21 for the wedding of Miss Ouida Woody, daughter of Mrs. Wells Waynic of Tehula, Miss., to Mr. John Morgan Bass, III, son of Mr. and Mrs. J.M. Bass, Jr. of New Orleans.
Miss Woody was graduated from Belhaven college n Jackson, Miss., and received her master?s degree in music from LSU. She has also studied voice in New York City where she sand in several stage productions at Radio city Music hall. While at LSU, she performed the leading roles in several opera productions, and for the past year has been teaching music privately in Baton Rouge.
Mr. Bass is a graduate of LSU where he received his degree in civil engineering. He is a member of Kappa Sigma and Samurai. Since graduating he has been employed in Baton Rouge, and was recently recalled to active duty in the army.
After a honeymoon in Havana, Cuba, the couple will make their home at Camp Chaffee, Ark., where the groom is stationed.
