OAK GROVE, LA - Funeral services for Nelwyn Ruth (Bass) Elliott, age 81 of Oak Grove, Louisiana will be held at 4 PM on Friday, June 26, 2020 at Cox Funeral Home Chapel, 200 East Noble Street in Oak Grove, Louisiana.
Reverend Paul Ninemire and Brother Ken Mills will officiate.
Interment will follow in the Red Wing Cemetery near Oak Grove, Louisiana.
Services are under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Oak Grove, Louisiana.
Visitation will be held from 10 AM until time of service on Friday, June 26, 2020 at Cox Funeral Home in Oak Grove.
Mrs. Elliott passed away on Monday, June 22, 2020 at Glenwood Regional Medical Center in West Monroe, Louisiana.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Neal Elliott; father, Chester B. Bass; mother, Marvel Betty (Barnhill) Bass; daughter, Betty Rene Mayhall; grandson, Dusty Stewart; 2 brothers, Joe W. "Dub" Bass and Elvis Ray "Fuzz" Bass.
She is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Dickey and Jackie Mayhall of Oak Grove, Louisiana; granddaughter and her husband, Tonya and Robbie Lancaster of Oak Grove, Louisiana; granddaughter and her husband, Chasta and Jonathan Haynes of Oak Grove, Louisiana; grandson, Damien LeBrun of Oak Grove, Louisiana; 6 great grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; brother, Don Bass of Oak Grove, Louisiana; brother, Roy Bass of Oak Grove, Louisiana; brother, Chester Bass of Oak Grove, Louisiana; brother, Roger Bass of West Monroe, Louisiana; sister, Sybil Womack of Oak Grove, Louisiana and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers are: Chris Womack, Andy Womack, Jamie Womack, Rick Moore, Damon Carney, and Dan Hughes.
Honorary Pallbearers are: Dakota Lancaster, Trey Lancaster, Cash Lancaster, Blake Haynes, Damien LeBrun, and Hunter Stewart.
