Mildrene Wilson Weds Raymond Leroy Bass
White wicker vases with Ester Reed Daises and aster were used to decorate the Zion Baptist Church for the wedding of Miss Mildrene Wilson and Raymond Leroy Bass, son of Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Barker. The Rev. F.C. Williams, officiated. The bride, daughter of Mrs. Gussie Wilson, wore a gown of net over satin with a fingertip veil held by a sweetheart crown. She carried an orchid on a white Bible. The maid of honor was Miss Rosetta Wilson, the bride?s sister, gowned in pink nylon net over pink taffeta. She carried Carnations and Ester Reed Daisies. The attendants were gowned in nylon net over taffeta in shades of yelloe and blue, and carried Ester Reed Daisies and carnation of yellow and blue.
Mr. Tigue Bass, best man, brother of the groom. Flower girls were Marjorie Rose Jacobson and Jo Ann Glass gowned in lace and net over taffeta. Ring bearer, Michael Jacobson. Ushers, Leroy Hill, Joe Moore and James Mims.
The mother of the bride chose a two piece blue cocktail suit with a corsage of pale pink carnations. The mother of the groom wore a blue tqafetta cocktail dress trimmed with rhinestone and sequins, pearl gray hat with pearl gray sequins and pale pink and white corsage.
Reception was held at the near northside YMCA. The couple will reside with the paren?ts of the groom.

Ernie Boykins, Sylvia and Tommy Burns, Lucile Turner, Timothy and LaVerne Wilson, brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Tigue and Marion Bass; host of other loving relatives.
