Mrs. Bass is survived by her daughter, Gail Bass Dyer Fortenberry of Pinola. Grandchildren include Susan Miller, Sandra Dabbs & James M. Smiley III. Great grandchildren include Roy Dabbs Jr.. Kelly Marie Dabbs, Mary Faith Smiley, Jacob Edward Miller.
