BASS: Funeral services for Latrelle Peacock Bass, 91, who died December 21, 2022, will be held Thursday at 11:00 in North Jacksonville Baptist Church with Rev. Chris Coram officiating. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to service. Interment will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery. Mrs. Bass was born in Alma, Georgia and was a longtime resident of Jacksonville, Florida. She had retired from the City of Jacksonville as a Court Clerk. She was a member of North Jacksonville Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, the late Johnny Hollis Bass; Survivors include her 2 daughters, Shirley Ann Bass and Elaine Bass Evans (Mark); 1 son, John Ken Bass (Susie); 7 grandchildren, Angie Haspel Ellis (Darren), Beth Tillman Allen (Ryan), Jon Kodatt (Susan), Josh Bass (Terri), Jennifer Norton , Jason Bass (Caitlin) and Zach Tillman (Hillary); 12 great-grandchildren, Stephanie Opachick, Mackenzie Kodatt, Blake Bass, Reagan Allen, Taylor Bass, Lucas Kodatt, Abby Allen, Kaitlyn Ellis, Aroura Norton, Nolan Allen, Johnny Tillman, and Brynn Bass. The family would like to thank the staff at Sodalis Senior Living and Promedica Hospice. Memorials may be made in her memory to: North Jacksonville Baptist Church or Promedicaseniorcare.org\giving.
