Marcus Antwann Robinson
Age 27 of Joliet, IL, passed away Friday, December 28, 2007 at the University of Wisconsin Hospital, Madison, WI. He was born August 9, 1980 in Joliet, the oldest son of Patrick O'Neal Young and Beverly Ann Sutton. He attended Joliet Central High School. He was a devoted volunteer at the Girls and Boys Club for more than 5 years. He was an avid card and bingo player and absolutely loved to be with family and friends. He enjoyed being the life of the party and selling candy to the neighborhood children.
Preceded in death by one sister, Samantha R. Willis; father, Patrick Young; paternal grandmother, Dorothy J. Young; paternal great-grandparents, Ike (Rachael) Bass; a special uncle, Lewis Bass Sr. and stepfather, L.C. Sutton; special grandparents, Forrest (Betty Sue) Willis.
Marcus is survived by his mother, Beverly Ann Sutton of Columbus; GA; two brothers, Johnathen Willis of Columbus, GA, Semaje Sutton of Madison, WI; two sisters, Taquila Robinson of Bolingbrook, IL; Ann (Dexter) Collins of Sun Prairie, WI; maternal grandparents, Robert (Sharie) Robinson Sr. of Joliet, IL; paternal grandfather, Vandybill McCarter of Joliet, IL; six nieces, five nephews and numerous relatives and friends; two special aunts, Shirley Stewart and Lillian Edwards; dear friend, Alvin Daniels Jr.
Visitation Thursday, January 3, 2008, 5-7 PM at the funeral home and Friday, January 4, 2008, 11 AM at Shiloh M.B. Church, 200 Rev. Walton Dr., Lockport, IL. Service at 12 noon, Pastor Richard D. House officiating. Interment following at Elmhurst Cemetery, Joliet, IL. Minor-Morris Funeral Home
