Gerleen Bass Darwin
Gerleen Bass Darwin, 71 of Rosalie, passed away Friday, January 18 at Huntsville Hospital.
Funeral will be Sunday, January 27 at 2 p.m. from Corner Stone Funeral Chapel with Rev. C.L. Wilborn and Rev. Bill Bass officiating. Burial will follow in Rosalie Cemetery. Family will receive friends Sunday after 10 a.m.
She is survived by his daughter, Sandy Darwin; sons and daughters-in-law, Bill and Janet Darwin, Jim and Pam Darwin and Tommie and Pam Darwin all of Rosalie; grandchildren, Chris Darwin, Jennifer Adams, Jamie and Lindsey Darwin all of Tuscaloosa, Matthew Darwin, Paige Darwin, Mandy and Billy Ball, all of Rosalie, Will Holcomb of Scottsboro, Jessica Martin of Fyffe; great-grandchildren, Ally and Cody Darwin, Andy Ball and Talan Lang; brothers and sisters-in-law, Bill and Bettye Bass of Rosalie, Charles and Iris Bass of Ider; sister-in-law, Lorene Bass of Rosalie; a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, many special friends and very special neighbors and friends, Marty and Renee Overdear and boys.
She was a member of Macklin Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, D.O. Darwin; parents, Hal and Pearl Bass; sister and brother-in-law, Mae and George Gant; brother, Claude Bass; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jim and Annie Darwin.
