Geraldine Bass Parrish
Geraldine - Bass Parrish, 65, of Florence died Monday, March 1, 2010.
Graveside funeral services will be held Friday, March 5, 2010 at 11 AM in the Florence National Cemetery, directed by Kistler-Hardee Funeral Home of Darlington.
Geraldine was born in Mullins, South Carolina. She was the daughter of Thomas and Ella Christine Gerald Bass. She had a very strong love for animals and was a very crafty lady.
Surviving are her son, Peter Parrish and wife Tamara Ann of Walterboro, SC; her daughter, Monica Parrish of Florence; her step daughter, Joy Mobile of Chicago; her brother, Thomas Bass and wife Linda of Kentucky; her two sisters, Dianna Bass Nuss and husband, Larry of Darlington and Janet Switzer and husband, Mike of Florence; 5 grandchildren; and 1 great grandson.
GAFFNEY - Mrs. R. A. MacFarland was called to Marion Thursday due to the death of her brother, F. G. Bass, who had been in a hospital for more than a month but whose death was unexpected. Dr. MacFarland, pastor of the First Baptist Church, accompanied his wife. Mr. Bass died Wednesday night.
