Williams-Bassett vows spoken
Andrea Shea Williams and Timothy Wayne Bassett, both of Conway, were married at 1 p.m. Saturday (Jan. 11, 2003) at The Gables Inn in Hot Springs.
The bride is a daughter of Robbie Thorn of Conway and Stephen and Franci Halter of Enola. She is a granddaughter of J.L. and Winnie Thorn of Greenbrier and Joe and Mary Ann Mosby of Conway.
The groom is a son of the late Robert W. Bassett Jr. of Akron, Ohio, and Tommy and Donetta King of Plumerville. He is a grandson of Robert W. Bassett Sr. of Akron and the late Ruth Bassett and Mildred Passmore of Conway. David Peters of Garland County performed the double-ring ceremony.
The bride wore a maroon, sleeveless dress with a ruffle outlining the edges of the neck and bottom of the dress. She wore a black and silver necklace and carried a bouquet of fresh white roses, daisies, greenery and baby's breath. Special guests included Tommy and Donetta King, stepfather and mother of the groom; Amy Riddle, sister of the groom; Ruth Ann Bassett, sister of the groom; Jim and Barbara Johnson, uncle and aunt of the groom; T.J., Rachel and Isaiah Puckett, brother-in-law, sister and nephew of the bride; and Jerrid Lively, friend of the couple.
A reception followed at Applebee's restaurant in Hot Springs. After a honeymoon in Hot Springs, the couple are at home in Conway.
