Durvis Vance Bass

Durvis Vance Bass passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family, Wednesday, March 1, 2017. A memorial to celebrate his life will be held Saturday, March 4, 2017 at 2:00pm at Friendship Baptist Church located at 3139 Friendship Church Rd Dry Branch, GA 31020. The Reverend Charles Carter will officiate.
Mr. Bass was born in Milan, GA and was the son of the late Dan and Gladys (Jones) Bass. He was preceded in death by his brother, Coot Bass. He was an avid fisherman and loved the outdoors. Mr. Bass is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Judy Bass. His brother: Cecil Bass, his sisters: Elizabeth Davis (Felton) and Gayle Frazier, his adopted brother: Charles Bass (Diane) and his dear friend Jerry McMillian. He leaves behind several nieces and nephews.
Monroe County Memorial Chapel and Friendship Baptist Church are in charge of arrangements.
