MISHAWAKA - Donaline Gale Houck, 66, passed away on Monday, December 21 in her home. Donaline was born on November 20, 1943 in Lewiston, ME to the late Lester and Amy (Hackett) Bassett. On September 7, 1963 in Bremen as the former Donaline Bassett she married Terry Houck. Surviving are her beloved husband of 46 years, Terry; two sons, Dwight (Dawn) Houck of Mishawaka and Brent (Teresa) Houck of Caneyville, KY; seven grandchildren, Elise (Philip) Szalay, Jesse Houck, Kayla (Ricky) Coleman, Cody Houck, Tyler Houck, Amanda Van Huffel and Brent Houck II; two great grandchildren, Gracie Szalay and Eli Coleman; a sister, Anita Sheu and a brother, Richard Bassett. Visitation will be on Monday, December 28 from 1 to 3 p.m. with a Memorial service at 3 p.m. in Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka, with Rev. Benjamin Norton of New Beginnings Church, officiating. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to The Center for Hospice and Palliative Care, 111 Sunnybrook Ct., South Bend, IN 46637.
