Doby Bass
Ramseur ? Doby Bass, 85, of Route 1 died Saturday at Randolph Hospital in Asheboro.
Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at De Kalb Baptist Church ni De Kalb, S.C., of which he was a member.
Surviving are wife Mrs. Nolia Vacne Bass; stepdaughters, Mrs. Margaret West of Andrew, S.C., Mrs. Ruth Jessup of Asheboro; stepsons, Homer Allen, James Allen, both of Framseur, Cisco Allen of Arcadia, Fla.; sisters, Mrs. Emma Boone, Mrs. Pearl Boone, Mrs. Cora Collins, all of Camden, S.C.; 11 grandchildren.
The family will be at Loklin Funeral Home in Ramseau 7-9 p.m. Monday.

Doby Bass, DeKalb
Doby Bass, 85, of Route 1, Box 462 Ramseur, N.C., formerly of Dekalb, died Saturday.
Born in Kershaw County, he was a son of the late Lei and Mamie Cook Bass. He was a retierd farmer and a member of Dekalb Baptist Church.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Nolia Vance Bass, stepsons, Homer and James Allen, both of Framseur, and Cisco Allen of Aradia, Fla.; stepdaughters, Mrs. Margaret West of Andrews and Mrs. Ruth Jessup of Asheboro; and sisters,, Mrs. Emma Boone, Mrs. Pearl Boone and Mrs. Cora Collins, all of Camden.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Dekalb Baptist Church.
There will be a viewing at the church at 1:30 p.m.
The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. today at Loflin Funeral Home ni Ramseur.
