Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge. He died unexpectedly Friday at Massachusetts General Hospital. Born in Boston, he graduated from Noble and Greenough School in Dedham in 1933, and from Harvard University in 1937. He was self-employed as an accountant in Boston for more than 40 years. He is survived by a son, Thomas C.; a daughter, Stephanie Gately ,both of Washington, D.C., and three grandchildren. Arrangements are by the Downey Funeral Home, Hingham.
