Clowson Bassett, and old and highly respected resident, died at his home on Broad street last night. The deceased was in his eighty-fourth year, and is survived by a widow, one son, John Bassett of Fishkill, and three daughters, Mary and Kate S. Bassett and Mrs. Virgil Martin. Mr. Bassett had been a resident of Waterford sixty-five years.
