Blease Bass
A Memorial Service was conducted at 4 p.m. Thursday, March 10, at Waughtown Baptist Church with Rev. Eddie Brackett officiating.

SUMMERFIELD - Blease Bass, 83, passed away Sunday, March 6, 2011 at his residence.
He was born November 9, 1927 in Robeson Co. to the late Lonny and Fanny Bass.
Bass was a very active member and served as a Deacon at Waughtown Baptist Church, and was a United States Marine Corp. Veteran.
He was preceded in death by his son, Stephen Bass.
Surviving are his beloved wife of 64 years, Nona Lennon Bass of the home; one daughter, Teresa Bass Garlick and husband Mike of Summerfield; one sister, Bernice Jackson of Bladenboro; and three grandsons, Stephen, Alex, and Zachary Garlick.
A graveside service was conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 8, at Galeed Baptist.
