Anahid Bassett

Anahid Bassett, of Medfield formerly of Needham passed away on May 4, 2023. She was 85.
Anahid was born in Boston to the late Kegham and Veronica Aghjayan and raised in Roslindale. She was a graduate of Boston Latin school and received her master?s in education from Regis College. She was a special education teacher in the Boston Public School system for more than 35 years.
Anahid was devoted to her husband, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She was the wife of the late Arthur H. Bassett and is survived by her children Frank and his wife Marie, Larry, Glen and his wife Megan, her grandchildren Alana, Michaela, Andrea and Becca, great granddaughters Paisley and Kinsley, her brother and sister Edward Aghjayan and Marion Killion, her sister in laws Judith Atkins and Joanie Bassett, her niece Yvette Ferrand, and her husband Jorge as well as many other family and friends. She is also survived by her dogs Izzy and Charlie.
Visiting hours will be on Tues May 9, 2023, from 4-8 PM in the Eaton Funeral Home 1351 Highland Ave Needham. Funeral services will be private.
In lieu of flowers, a donation, in memory of Anahid, to Accent Care Hospice 1 Edgewater Dr., Suite 103, Norwood MA 02062, would be appreciated.
