Barry L. Wollman
Barry L. Wollman of Russett Lane, Storrs, died Sunday (February 18, 2001). Born in Hartford, he was the son of the late Solomon and Selma (Bass) Wollman. An Air Force Veteran of the Vietnam War, Barry was a Volunteer Fireman at the Eagleville and Mansfield Fire Departments in Mansfield. He was in the Civil Air Patrol and was involved with ham radios for many years. He leaves three uncles, Ben Wollman of Willimantic, Dr. Kenneth Bass of Dallas, TX and Zalman Bass of West Hartford, as well as several cousins. Funeral services will be held TODAY, 1 p.m. in the Hillel House, 64 North Eagleville Road, Storrs, with burial in Storrs Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Eagleville Fire Department, 879 Stafford Road, Storrs, CT 06268. Arrangements have been entrusted to Weinstein Mortuary, Hartford.
