She was the daughter of the late Grover and Haley Taylor Washer and was preceded in death by 3 brothers and 5 sisters. Her husband, Willie Whitson Bass died Feb. 1, 2013. Dorothy was a homemaker and member of Lakewood Baptist Church. She is survived by a son, Patrick Bass and his wife, Teresa of Mt. Juliet; daughter, Peggy Beechboard and her husband, Tommy of Douglasville, GA; grandchildren, Charles Neal (Kim) Beechboard of Douglasville, GA, Tiffany Lee (Keith) Ebner of Dallas, GA and Jenna Bass of Mt. Juliet; great grandchildren, Anna Lee Ebner and Jarrod Keith Ebner; sister, Marie (Billy) Hatcher of Mt, Juliet; nieces and nephews. Graveside services 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at Jones Hill Cemetery in Watertown with Rev. Carl Price officiating. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
