Pearl Jones
FLORENCE ? The funeral for Pearl Wilene Bass Jones, 52, 909 N. Royal Ave., was held Saturday at Elkins and Son Funeral Home Chapel in Florence with the Rev. Warren Ruby officiating. Burial followed in the Florence City Cemetery with Elkins and Son Funeral Home, Florence, Directing.
She died Saturday at Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital in Florence after an extended illness. She was a nurse, a native and lifelong resident of Lauderdale County, and a member of the Baptist church.
Survivors include her sister, Dr. June Strickland, Seattle; and number of aunts, uncles and cousins.
