Eveleen Smith Bass
Eveleen Smith Bass of Oakland Tennessee went home to be with Jesus on January 12, 2023. She became a Christian as a child and was a member of Trafalgar Village Baptist Church in Memphis Tennessee.
She is preceded in death by her husband Lenard (Buster) Bass, her brother John (Uncle Rankins) Smith, her sister Ruby Bishop, and her son Dennis Bass.
She is survived by her sons David (Michele) and Danny (Amelia) Bass, her daughter-in-law Sherry (Dennis-deceased) Bass, her grandchildren Adam Bass, Elizabeth Bass, David (Emma) Harrelson, Misty (Nathan) Beitz, David Owen (Amanda) Bass, Tim (Brittiany) Bass, Cody (Savannah) Bass, her nieces Faye Pruett, Joyce (Elzine) Jacoby-Duncan, Pam Haithcock, Darlene Harris, Ginger Harris, Sue Briggs, Debbie Shearon, her nephews Jerry Harris, Dwayne Harris, Mike Harris, Tony Harris, Tim Harris, Jackie Shearon, Chris Shearon, her great niece Debbie Busby, her great nephews Mike Pruett, Perry Pruett, Derek Pruett, Kenneth Jacoby, Tracey Jacoby, Dane White, and her 14 great grandchildren.
The funeral service will be at High Point Funeral Home at 3788 Summer Avenue in Memphis on Thursday January 19, 2023. Visitation will be at 12 pm, and the service will be at 1 pm. The grave side service will follow at Memorial Park at 5668 Poplar Avenue in Memphis. Pastor Rick Panis of Trafalgar Village Baptist Church in Memphis will be the officiating minister.
The family requests that, in lieu of sending flowers, that donations be sent to Trafalgar Village Baptist Church in Memphis Tennessee.
