Olivet Baptist Church for Donavin Seymour Bass, who died May 28 at age 42. Mr. Bass was born Aug. 15, 1954, in Longview, Wash. In 1978, he married Valerie Brier. He graduated from Adams High School and Pacific University. He worked for KPTV (12) for 19 years as a producer and director. Surviving are his wife; daughter, Danielle of Aloha; parents, Douglas and Muriel Bass of Vancouver, Wash.; sister, Theresa of Beaverton; and brother, Lowell of Portland. Disposition is by cremation. The family suggests remembrances to Donavin Bass memorial scholarship fund in care of Pacific University or to St. Vincent Hospice. Arrangements are by Finley-Sunset Hills Mortuary.
