Daylene K. Bassett
Daylene K. Bassett, age 79, of Bartonville, passed away Sunday, Dec. 31, 2023 at 9:06 a.m. at Farmington Village in Farmington, IL.
She was born Dec. 1, 1944 in Peoria to Clarence and Betty (Dummler) Elliott. They preceded her in death along with one brother-in-law, Richard Williams.
Survivors include one son, Robert (Jane) Bassett of Peoria, one daughter, Christine (Jeff) Donahue of Peoria, four grandchildren: Emily, Kevin, Connor, Chase, and two sisters: Sharon Williams and Patricia (Don) Kelch both of Missouri. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and her beloved cat, Rocky.
Daylene worked at Better Banks, starting in 1989 retiring in the early 2000?s. She was a former member of St Anthony?s Catholic Church in Bartonville, a member of the Red Hat Society, and loved playing cards with her lady friends in her card club since high school.
Funeral services will be Saturday, Jan. 13, 2024 at 11 a.m. at the Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.
Entombment will be in Resurrection Mausoleum following the services.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association.
