Interment in Sherrie Quarters Cemetery, Oscar. Survived by three children, Dashia, Brandon and Christopher Bass, and their father and her friend, Charles Joseph, all of Bueche; three sisters, Terrie Walker and Estelle Bass, both of Baton Rouge, and Diane James, New Roads; five brothers, Elvis Jackson, Sonny Bass, Anthony Bass, Kevin Bass and Sam Bass Jr., all of Baton Rouge; four aunts, four uncles, four sisters-in-law and other relatives. Preceded in death by mother and father, Dorothy Mae and Sam Bass Sr.; grandmother, Lena Simon; and a sister.
