Anne M. Keane
Anne M. Keane, 77, wife of John J. Keane, of 32 Apple Blossom Lane, Danbury, died at the Danbury Hospital on Saturday.
She was born in Danbury, January 20, 1922, daughter of the late Kyriakas & Josephine (Bassett) Mamis. She had attended Danbury schools and was a lifetime Danbury resident. Mrs. Keane was a member of St. Gregory the Great Church.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son John D. Keane and his wife Jane, of Danbury; 2 grandsons, David & Jeffrey and a granddaughter, Elizabeth, all of Danbury, two nieces & a nephew. Mrs. Keane was predeceased by 2 brothers, Chris Mamis in 1991 and George Mamis in 1992.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Gregory the Great Church on Tuesday morning at 10 a.m. Burial will take place in St. Peter Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury, on Monday from 4 to 8 p.m.
