Yeager died very suddenly of neuralgia of the heart at his home, 817 H street west, Monday, June 7, at 4 p.m., aged 53 years. Mr. Yeager was born in Germany and had been a resident of Iowa for twenty-six years. He leaves to mourn the loss a wife, one daughter, Mrs. W. C. Kile, four sons, Wm. F., Charles S., Henry J. and Albert O. and three step-children, Mrs. E. E. Emery, Mrs. Rose Cooksey and Wm. V. Yant. Mr. Yeager was a kind husband and father, a man who loved his home better than any other place. He was a member of the Lutheran German church of Nichols, Iowa. Funeral from residence Wednesday at 2:30 p.m., Rev. Herbert Tilden officiating. Burial in Linwood.Monument Inscription:- John S. Rose Lincoln Yeager, 91, widow of Charles S. Yeager, died at 8 p.m. Saturday at her home, 611 Seventh avenue SE, following a brief illness. Born March 4, 1861 at Cardington, Ohio, she had lived in Cedar Rapids 60 years. She was the oldest living member of the First Baptist church. She also was a member of Cedar chapter No. 184, O.E.S. Services will be held in the Turner chapel at a time to be announced later. Burial will be in Linwood cemetery. Mrs. Yeager is survived by a nephew and several nieces.Inscription: Rose L.
