  Notes	The following is an email from Julie Fors to Tom Nadsady on January 2, 2013. On my way to Missouri (while in Oklahoma)he coded 5 times and they brought him back and each time he asked if I was there yet. I drove like a wild person trying to get there in time. When I got there he was non-responsive and I kind of lost it as he looked so much like my mother lying there that I did not stay longer than an hour. I was informed that he was in grave critical condition and that he would not survive through the weekend. They asked if I wanted to remove the Ventillator that he requested after the 5th espisode as he was waiting for me. I told them that I could not make that decision yet. They informed me that they had a copy of the medical power of attorney and they need my approval to do so, so I told them that I would come back after I went to the house and took a shower and got his dog out of the kennel. I came back at 5 pm on Saturday and spent awhile with him and when I held his hand he squeased it, but the nurse told me that was just reflexes. I think otherwise! About 2 minutes til 6 pm we removed the ventillator and he was gone just like that. It was very hard, but I knew I had to do it. My Mother's final wishes were for me to continue what she had always done. Weekly calls to him and sending cards at every holiday. I did it for 14 years along with many visits and do not regret any minute of it. On Sunday I sat in his bed and called him and let the answering machine pickup just to hear his voice and had told him off as he was not picking up.....LOL I guess I needed closure! At least they are all together again....... Anyways, I will miss him as he was a huge part of my life and now I will only have my kids left. He was truly a wonderful guy and tons of fun!
