Bassett, 60, of 5602 Elsworth, clerk at the White Plaza Hotel, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Sullivan’s Funeral Chapel in Marshall. Burial will be in Marshall’s Grover Cemetery. Mr. Bassett, who died here Wednesday, was a native of Marshall. He had been with White Plaza Hotel some 20 years. Survivors: wife, two sister, Mrs. Verna Loveland and Mrs. J.M. Clevis of Waco; a brother, Luther Bassett of Henderson, and a half-brother, Aubrey Wyatt of Marshall.
