Henry was discharged at Beaulieu near Savannah, Georgia, on 10 Sep 1862. Henry re-enlisted in Company F, 5th Regiment Georgia Cavalry 11 Nov 1863. Pension records show he was cut off from command while on scout duty near Bentonville, North Carolina in 1865. Henry Green Edenfield served in the House of Representatives, Screven County, Georgia, 1890-1891 adjourned, 1894-95,1896-197 adjourned 97. Jane E. Bragg. Jane was born on December 29, 1845 in Screven County. She was married on April 5, 1863, in Screven County with Henry Green Edenfield. He was born on November 5, 1845, in South Carolina to William Allen Edenfield and Sarah Samantha Bassett Edenfield. He died on July 15, 1919. Jane died on July 11, 1924, in Georgia. She and Henry had twelve (12) children, all born in Screven County.
