Jana Elaine Bassett
Jana Bassett, 25, died Monday, Sept. 6, 2010, at her home in Denham Springs. Visiting at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, on Friday, Sept. 10, from 10 a.m. until religious service at noon, conducted by the Rev. Gerald S. Martin and Brother David Albin. Burial at Evergreen Memorial Park in Denham Springs. Survived by her son, Drew Aaron Bassett; parents, the Rev. Don Samuel and Donna Lynn Armond Bassett; brother, Mark Aaron Bassett; maternal grandfather and grandmother, Aaron John and Laverne Armond; paternal grandmother, Helen Elaine Bassett; niece, Gracie Madison Bassett; aunts, Gay Sutton, Barbara Hull and Geraldine Loper; uncles, Royce, Eddie, Robert, Randy and Steve Bassett, and Thomas Guy Cooper; special childhood friend, Megan Rhodus Roberts; and numerous extended family members. Preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Mildred Harris Armond; paternal grandfather, S.C. Bassett; uncle, Norman Cooper; and cousin, James Darrin Hull. She was of the Southern Baptist faith.
