Charles Cleveland Hall
San Angelo - Charles Cleveland Hall (86) went to be with his Lord on January 17, 2021. He was born on September 7, 1934 to Willie and Ruth Hall in Union Springs, Alabama.
On January 24th, 1953, Charles married and shared 68 years with the love of his life, Dorothy Bassett. He spent 23 years in the Air Force, serving in Japan, Alaska, Greece, the Philippines, San Antonio, Texas and Goodfellow Air Force Base in San Angelo, Texas. After retiring from the Air Force, he spent 20 years in the air conditioning business. He retired in 1996 from Lane Weather mart. He had a love of computers and was willing to share his knowledge with others. Charles loved the Lord and was a member of Glen Meadows Baptist Church and the Open Door Sunday School Class.
He is preceded in death by his parents. Those left behind to treasure his memory are his beloved wife, Dorothy, and children, Kay Hall, Michael and Debbie Hall, Danny and Vanessa Hall of San Angelo, Texas, and Sharon and Jimmy Dennis of Vernon, Texas, four grandchildren, Ryan and Juanita Hall, Erin and Austin Weitner of San Angelo, Ashley and Zack Bloom, and Mallory and Andy Bell of Vernon, Texas, and 11 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by two sisters, Buna Hall of Union Springs, Alabama, and Helen and Ray Smith of Chickamauga, Georgia.
Charles' family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the doctors, nurses, and staff of the COVID Unit and Shannon Medical Center for the dedicated and genuinely sincere care they provided him.
Graveside services will be held on at 11:00am, Friday, January 22, 2021 at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens with Pastor Mack Roller officiating. Services are under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home/ Sherwood Way.
