BERLIN - Funeral services will be held here Tuesday at 1 p.m. in the Burbage Funeral Home for George F. Everett Shockley. He died yesterday at his home in Maple Shade, N.J. He was 71.
A retired commission merchant, he was a former resident of Powellville.
The husband of the late Ella Bassett Shockley, of Ironshire, he is survived by two sons, Floyd W. Shockley of Merchantville, N.J., and E. Russell Shockley of Cynwyd, Pa.; two daughters, Mrs. Mildred E. Doland, Camden, N.J., and Mrs. Doris Drum, Maple Shade, N.J.; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The Rev. Joseph Vaughn, pastor of Stevenson's Methodist Church will officiate at the funeral. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday between 12 noon and 1 p.m.
