The graveside service will be held at 3:30 PM on Tuesday November 22, 2011 in the Hillcrest Cemetery with Rev. Donnie Wright officiating. Mrs. Stone was born on February 8, 1922 to the late Levis Eugene and Ezelle Hood Bassett in Berrien County, GA. She has lived in Sylvester since 1978 moving from Hialeah, FL. Mrs. Stone was formerly employed in the proof department at a bank. Survivors include her grandson Donald Eugene Stone of Mooresville, N.C., sister Ima B. Patterson of Sumner and a host of nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Tuesday at 2:30 until 3:30 PM at Banks Funeral Home. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Stone was preceded in death by her husband Weldon Arlen Stone on April 24, 1968 and her son Larry Eugene Stone.
