Graveside services for Wylodene ?Dene? Bassett Clark, age 83, of Roanoke will be held on Sunday, November 10, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Rock Stand Congregational Christian Church with Bro. Kenneth Johnson officiating and Quattlebaum Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Clark passed away on Friday, November 8, 2024, at Tanner Medical Center in Carrollton.
Survivors include: two daughters, Becky Rena Johnson (Barry) and Kristy Clark Hall (Tim), both of Roanoke; five grandchildren, Zack Hall of Cragford, Chase Hall of Huntsville, and Gracie Hall, Ginger Kelley, and Luke Johnson, all of Roanoke; four great-grandchildren, Lilly Kelley, Elyssa Kelley, Avery Johnson, Maddie Johnson, and Gracie Law; two sisters, Juanita Ussery of Dawnsville, GA, and Margaret Myers of Pikeville, TN; and one brother, Kim Bassett of Wadley.
Pallbearers will be Tim Hall, Chase Hall, Zack Hall, Luke Johnson, Travis Kelley, and Barry Johnson.
A Roanoke native, Mrs. Clark was born on July 4, 1941, the daughter of Byrd and Gladys Parmer Bassett. She was a member of Rock Stand Congregational Christian Church and was retired from the Randolph County Health Department. Mrs. Clark was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Willie Joe Clark; and a brother, Billy Bassett.
