Bassett, 76 of 2410 India Palm Drive, Edgewater Fla.,formerly of Plattsburgh, died Wednesday Oct. 21, 1987 at Fish Memorial Hospitalin New Smyrna Beach. Fla. She was bornin Plattsburgh on Feb. 9, 1911, the daughter of Arthur and Venia (Tuis) Bushey. Mrs. Bassett was supervisor swerving onthe Clinton County Board of Directors. She was a member of the Edgewater UnitedMethodist Church in Edgewater, Fla. Her husband, Harry E. Bassett Sr., diedearlier. She is survived by one son, Harry BassettJr. of Edgewater, Fla., one daughter, Carol Skeen of Edgewater, one sisterMyrtle Brown of Plattsburgh, 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m.on Saturday at the Baldwin-Hughey Funeral Home Chapel, 1 North Causeway, NewSmyrna Beach, Fla.
