Rader Funeral Home, Longview, in charge of services. Mrs. Finklea died April 6 in Longview. She was born on Sept. 13, 1921, to Tom John and Kate Strong Bassett in Henderson. She married Judge D. Finklea Sr., who preceded her in death. She was a member of First Baptist Church and the Faith Sunday School Class. Survivors include her four children and their families, Judy Finklea Oliver of Longview, Judge D. Jr. and Mindy Finklea of Kilgore, Genelle Finklea Wooten and Dave Wooten of Longview, and Jan Finklea Blow and Craig Blow of Aubrey; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to Beacon Hospice @ Margaret's House, 5016 Gilmer Rd., Longview TX 75604; Heart to Heart Hospice, 1402 Rice Rd Suite 100, Tyler, TX 75703; The American Brain Tumor ASSC, 2720 River Rd, Des Plaines, IL 60018; or a charity of your choice.
