- He lived on a farm near Vermilion, New York, and removed to Hannibal, New York, in 1870. He is mentioned in various land deeds of property in Township 14, Scriba's Patent, of Lot 59, Miltiary Tract, etc., with wife Phebe, Andrew Druce, Sr., and wife Rhoda. Reuben S. Druce and wife Mary, and Calvin Goodwin and wife Rhoda, in 1837, 1843, 1864, a868-73. He was a member of the Baptist Church for 40 years. She was pensioned in June 1882 at $8 per month as the mother of a Civil War soldier.
