Kenneth Harold Bass
Kenneth Harold Bass, 72, died peacefully surrounded by his family on Monday, January 2, 2017. He was born in Edgecombe County on August 8, 1944 to the late A. Z. Manning and Elsie Leonard Bass.
Kenneth is survived by his wife of 39 years, Peggy Outlaw Bass; sons, Owen Bass(Leah) and Jerry Bass both of Florida, Jeff Jeffries(Misty) and Ed Jenkins(Martha)both of Nashville; daughter, Kimberly Jenkins(Collins) of Nashville; brothers, Sammy(Emily) and Steve (Pat) Bass; sisters, Jackie Varnell(Billy) and Margaret Bass; grandchildren, Kevin King Jr., Kurstin King, Kayden and Kenzie Jeffries, Kendall, Gillian and Cassie Bass, Jessica and Patrick Woodcock; great grandchildren, Bentley King, Lacy Sellers, Timothy, Gage and Patrick Woodcock.
A service to celebrate his life will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, January 6, 2017 at Cornerstone Funeral Home with Rev. Daniel Moss officiating. Burial will follow the service in Red Oak Cemetery. A visitation will be held at 12:30 pm prior to the service.
