Clint M. Bass, McClure Road
Clint M. Bass, 84, of McClure Road died at 5 a.m. Tuesday, July 28, 1998, at his home.
He was a former employee of Hamilton Cosco and retired from Reeves Pulley Division of Reliance Electric. He was a World War II Navy veteran, a member of Ohio Street Wesleyan Church and a life member of Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday at Norman Funeral Home at Hope, with the Rev. Paul Kirk officiating.
Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be at Springer Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Bartholomew County or Ohio Street Wesleyan Church Women's Missionary Society.
Mr. Bass was born in Sulphur Well, Ky., Feb. 18, 1914, the son of Newton and Elizabeth Price Bass. He married Betty Carmer Oct. 10, 1939. She survives.
Also surviving are children, Duane Bass of Greenfield and Alice Shewmake of Columbus; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Richard Keith Bass; sisters, Betty London and Ada Anderson; and a brother, Garnett Bass.
