Essie Mae Bass
Essie Rae Bass, 82, of Live Oak, passed away Saturday, May 8, 2004, in the Suwannee Health Care Center, Live Oak. The Meeks, Ga. native resided in Live Oak. She was a supervisor for Kmart of Live Oak for 10 years and was a member of the Live Oak Christian Church.
Survivors include: her three daughters, Gloria Scott, Live Oak, Jane Riggins, Tallahassee and Cindy Lieupo, Live Oak; one sister, Geneva Grant, Kite, Ga.; ten grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Claude Reece Bass.
Graveside services were conducted at 2 p.m., Tuesday, May 11, at the Macedonia Cemetery, Live Oak, with the Rev. Martin M. Honchalk officiating.
Daniels Funeral Home of Live Oak was in charge of all arrangements.
